Was a tad concerned at first that this might play out a little naively but it was pretty good in the end. Clint's performance is rocksteady and carries it through to the end. The scene where the street punks gang up on Sue is absolutely horrible though, it's like it was written by someone who never had a conversation in their life and is acted unconvincingly, feels weirdly out of place with everything else. read more

Un film quasi di formazione con la crescita progressiva dei protagonisti sia dal punto di vista spirituale (vedi Walt) sia dal punto di vista emotivo e fisico (vedi Thao). I personaggi di contorno aiutano a capire meglio quanto queste due figire sono lontane e vicine allo stesso tempo. Accettare il prorpio passato significa vivere bene anche il proprio presente.
