i'm not gonna say this was my most anticipated film of the year but i will give you that it was in my top five, especially after that great trailer set to queen's bohemian rhapsody. so what a disappointment this was. some cool effects, cool characters and a cool idea were squandered by utterly insipid editing and a pretty stupid screenplay. let's discuss those two and be done with it. this movie could of been good even with it's dumb as shit screenplay but it is totally ruined by it's poor editing. this has to be the worst editing i have ever seen in a big budget hollywood flick. it's read more

this is my third time watching it. theater, extended, and now when i was bored. i lied to myself when i left the theater saying it was just ok with some good and bad parts. i watched the extended and hoped for something different and was disappointed. every time i watch this movie it gets worse. the plot is absurd, the writing is terrible, and the performances are phoned in. dont get me started on the god awful editing. it just makes me wonder what it would have looked like if dc let ayer do it the way he wanted.  i tried to tell myself that joker and harley saved it but the more i watch read more

prepping for zack snyder's justice league part 3 it's not terrible, but it really only has like 1.5 redeeming qualities among just mediocre everything else. i can roll with this version of harley quinn, and for whatever reason, deadshot's story is passable to me. throw in some magic doo-hickeys and you have the bare minimum of a comic book movie. read more
