it's the third best terminator movie! it was great to see linda hamilton kicking ass again and mackenzie davis was a nice suprise. arni was fun of course but how they explain his character is bizarre and unintentionally hilarious (which is a big win in my book). it's easy enough to overlook the bad writing but the cgi action is really in your face and it does get boring after a while. they reaaaaally should have slowed it down a bit. yep. there was just too much action in this sloppily written action movie. read

"let's cancel out the movies that audiences don't tend to like as much, so that we can recycle them anyway!" this is like halloween h40 [2018], in that way. this was a shaping up to be a passable yet trite entry in the franchise, up until c a r l (so dumb)... and the most ridiculously over-the-top, exhausting final chase, with more than a few questionable choices and cgi moments. the new characters were nothing special. i don't get the hype about mackenzie davis as grace, sure her action scenes were very commendable but as a character she's not super interesting. natalia reyes and gabriel read

the franchise challenge - terminator terminator dark fate: i thought we had a reset with genisys but that got canned and with this we pick up after t2. the connor did their job and stopped skynet & went on holliers to guatemala only for john to meet his end anyway by a random terminator... they prob just have left the reset with genisys. now if i forget about all that nonsense and just look at it as a film of its own then it isnt to bad at all. davis is excellent as our augmented protector and steals the show. action is decent enough, the villain terminator is very good and time hasnt been... read

a brilliant reboot of the franchise that ditches the amorphous skynet for a tangible, very credible terminator. the return of linda and arnold was spot on, but it was mackenzie who shone in this non-stop action flick. read

terminator: dark fate is a good movie. it's not great, but it is great fun. i cared about the characters, the emotional moments felt sincere, and the set pieces were thunderously energetic. yet i would be remiss if i didn't point out how much core dna it borrowed from terminator 2. to the point where a sizable chunk of the first act felt merely like a t2 remix. if the entire movie had remained like that, i would've been upset. it quickly mixes things up just enough to keep you invested- but it also never deviates too far from the t2 formula. right down to the climax, there was an unfortunate... read

man, i do love me some franchise double reboots. but actually, i liked this one, compared to terminator 3, 4, and 5. it acts as a sequel to t2, with more wibbly wobbly timey-wimey stuff. this time, the focus is back on sarah connor and hunting down more terminators. it ends up being more cohesive than the other sequels but at the cost of unnecessary dialogue. however, i did like all of the action scenes, even if a few were extended too long. if there are more sequels, i'll probably watch them, i just hope they keep what makes t1 and t2 so special that mostly stayed for this film. read

i really have to thank everyone for lowering my expectations before seeing this movie... because i thoroughly enjoyed it! is it as classic as the first 2 terminator films? no, probably not. but it's nearly as good, and it's leaps and bounds better than the 3 movies which followed. one thing i loved is that the action in the terminator series is not just about brutality or spectacle. it's about how smart the scenes can be...about how they can always put a twist on your expectation. it relates to one of the themes of the series, which is about how humanity creates machine ai, which adapts, read

"you do that, it'll find you. you put a hundred cops between you and a terminator, you'll get a hundred dead cops." - grace simply awful, this felt like rinse and repeat. nothing new added to the franchise. other than an apparent regret of everything between t2 and genesis. read

My quick rating - 6;7/10. Yep; she's back. Well; so is he for that matter. Is the timeline so completely screwed up in this series of movies; that nothing can be done to fix it? Yes. It is. But will that stop me from watching these films? Nope; and most likely nor will it stop many at all. But the time on these are running down and this flick does attempt to address that; sort of. Grab the popcorn; check all sense fo reality aside and just join the Terminators again. This movie brings in a load of action; a bit of heart strangely enough; and if you thought you were confused by the others read

Here we are again for the 6th movie in this franchise and hopefully they can retire it now. Word of warning for Big Arnie fans is that he wont appear till nearly half into the film so he was more of a supporting actor in this case. The main grunt work this time goes to a returning Linda Hamilton and newcomers MacKenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes. Of course its all over the top action but the stunts are very good as expected. remains to be seen if there are more but really this one can be given a miss. read

As mesmas coisas do primeiro review + o CG incomodou mais e tive uma espécie de insight: Exterminador do Futuro e Yu Yu Hakusho tem muito em comum, o que faz o filme acabar tendo uma qualidade de anime interessante.
Same things as the first review + the CGI really bothered me this time and that I had a kind of epiphany: Terminator movies have a lot in common with Yu Yu Hakusho, and that it helps the movie having a great anime thing going on. read

Familiar faces reconvene for this enjoyable, if not particularly memorable entry in the ongoing series. Linda Hamilton is back, a far cry from the shy, innocent teenager of the original Terminator, having to spent her waking life battling deadly machines has clearly taken its toll. Inevitably, Arnie joins the party also, and its the meeting of these two sworn enemies that provides the films more endearing moments. Arnie himself has changed considerably also, now a family man (robot) more interested in decorative drapes than killing. There is an emphasis on humour, mostly welcome although read

A good action flick. Definitely nothing we haven't seen before, and some definite repeat plot points, but it was good enough to keep me entertained (I totally didnt fall asleep 15 minutes before it ended 😅). Would only reccomend it to people that have seen T1 and T2. read
