we are doing a shot for shot remake of a scene from "the birds" appropriate behavior sometimes feels like a shot for shot remake of many similar movies and media that have popped up recently. the plot concerns a woman who tries to put her life back together after a break up. there's nothing too revolutionary there. what sets this movie apart is that it provides us a perspective into a world and experience that we don't see in cinema or other visual mediums almost at all. the main character in this film, shirin, is a bisexual iranian navigating life in brooklyn. watching this film makes it... read more
