i wish that i could say the negative hype about this film was wrong. i wish that i could say it, but i cannot. never have so many a-list stars debased themselves in such a futile effort to make people laugh. admittedly, there are a couple of funny moments; emma stone's brief segment with kieran culkin has a couple chuckles and the "homeschooled" segment with naomi watts and liev schreiber made me laugh a few times. the rest of it is, by and large, offensively unfunny. allow me to be clear here, by the way; it is perfectly acceptable to cross into outrageous and potentially offensive read more

A trio of kids' searching the internet for a legendary video that does not exist provide the loose connection between a series of comic sketches that try anything to push the limits of bad taste: jokes' subjects range between scatological, sex (and scatological sex) and humiliation but the authors' unremitting effort to gross viewers out quickly numbs any effect. "Movie 43" does score a few guilty laughs but what little entertainment the film provides comes from wondering how on earth was this project able to lure such a stellar cast. read more

I don't understand why people rate this low. Lots of famous actors, they all act very well. The story is random but meant to be this way. If you don't like the first 15min don't watch it but don't rate it too. read more
