Released originally in 1982, this is a remake of the popular slasher which sees a group of sorority teenagers being hunted by a psychopath called Russ who uses a drill to kill his poor victims. There is really not much else to note as the concept of a maniac murdering college kids is nothing new in this genre, but director Danishka Esterhazy does flip the script so to speak as in this version its the guys that are treated as little more than eye-candy, the highpoint being an amusing scene where they are playfighting half naked in slow-mo completely unaware of being watched from the outside.... read more
