Educating Rita

I didn't realise how invested I was in Educating Rita until about halfway through, and then it all started to hit me all at once. A witty, uplifting film about social mobility, identity, art and class that let it's two main stars do the heavy lifting. Julie Walters and Michael Caine play off each other so well as Rita and Frank, who meet at a point where they are both unhappy with their lives, and represent eachothers turning points.
