Screw it, Im unironically giving Mr. Peabody and fricking Sherman 3 and a half stars. What has life come to? Have I ever seen an actually good movie? Do I know what makes a movie good? Well the answer is yes, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman is legitimately a well made and heartfelt kids movie. Its a movie that kids and adults can enjoy and relate to for different reasons. Obviously everyones been a kid at sometime in their life, so everyone can understand Sherman feeling like his dad is being too overprotective, but on the other hand every whos parented a child before can understand why Mr. Peabody is being overprotective. and even though this movie is a bit weird(okay its very weird), its entertaining from start to finish because its so colorful and intriguing, but at the same time meaningful. And its even very rewatchable because it feels like you notice some new, brilliant little detail every time you watch it. Now all of those factors are obviously great, but the best factor of all is that it has important values that are essential for anyone to hear. Sure I think it was pretty stupid how everyone said they were a dog at the end, but overall, having Shermans dad be a literal dog but still a great parent is a really good way of getting the lesson across. Genuinely one of my favorite Dreamworks movies, fight me.
